About

I started my career as a cartoonist, working for the Dimbleby Newspaper Group at the tender age of 15, before going on to work for various publications, including Marvel UK, Knockabout and Hodder Children’s Books. Then in a bit of a career change I went off to become a writer and art director, working for some of London’s top advertising agencies, including J. Walter Thompson.
During this period I kept up my cartooning and illustration, contributing to various publications and media platforms. This included writing and drawing the cartoon feature 'Learn to Speak Cat' for the national Metro newspaper on a daily basis for over three years, contributing two regular comic features to DC Thomson, drawing various strips for Viz Comic, writing and drawing comic-book stories for David Lloyd’s Aces Weekly and contributing pocket cartoons to The Oldie, The Spectator and Private Eye. In recent years, Private Eye have also published over a hundred of my ‘Logos as they should be’ and I’m currently drawing Andy Capp-in-Ring for them.

I also have two cartoon features syndicated worldwide through Universal Click. These appear daily on GoComics.com
